Key Responsibilities:

Financial Support & Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Compliance & Audit:

Support compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements by coordinating documentation and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Cash Flow Monitoring:

Track and manage daily and periodic cash flow to ensure healthy liquidity; highlight variances and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Risk & Internal Controls:

Assist in implementing and monitoring internal control systems to mitigate financial risk and ensure policy adherence.

Financial Analysis:

Provide analytical support for management decisions, including variance analysis, cost control, and financial modelling.

Project Support:

Participate in system enhancement, automation, or finance-related projects led by the Finance Manager, ensuring smooth implementation and team coordination.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth finance and accounting operations.

Other Duties: Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Accounting or partial professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent
Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, prefer in retail industry
Well versed in MS Excel, Words, Power Point and Navision ERP accounting system
Responsible, self-driven and strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively with other departments and colleagues.
