IT Manager

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing IT teams, systems and projects

• IT Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network infrastructure, servers, workstations and telecommunications.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• ERP Support: Oversee and support our on-premise Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP system and also, the planned migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (cloud), targeted for completion by 2027.
• AI Initiatives: Explore, evaluate, and implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to enhance business processes, improve data analytics and drive operational efficiency.
• Security Management: Develop and enforce robust IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems from threats.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and negotiating contracts for hardware, software, and services.
• SharePoint Governance: Establish and maintain effective SharePoint governance policies and procedures. Manage sites, user permissions, content management and ensure compliance with data security and retention policies.
• Project Leadership: Lead and manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives. This includes resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, operations, and support in a corporate environment.
• Experience with ERP systems is essential; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV) or Business Central (BC) is an advantage. Candidates with experience in other ERP platforms and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint administration, governance, and development.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience in implementing relevant technologies.
• Good knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in the wholesale or F&B industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
