Associate Director (Singapore)

In response to growing demand in the APAC region, Browning Environmental is opening an office in Singapore and is seeking an Associate Director to oversee accounts for APAC and support business development.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ambitious individual who wants to make a mark in promoting clean energy and environmental sustainability at a time of great disruption, and to play a lead role in developing our business.
Responsibilities and Scope- APAC new business development: agency proposals, negotiation, and securing business.
- Project managing retained or project-based strategic communications assignments, including research, strategy, branding, messaging, content, and outreach across all media, with an APAC focus.
- Coordinating with senior representatives of clients day-to-day and processing their changing needs.
- Managing delivery of work remote/hybrid team members to the highest quality.
- Hiring and developing junior talent.
- Contributing to agency knowledge management systems.
- Supporting development of APAC marketing materials.
- Strong ambassador for the company among corporate, finance, and government sectors
- An inspiring leader, prepared to support a growing APAC team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills are essential.
- 5+ years’ experience of strategic communications and media relations in relevant spaces.
- 3+ years’ experience in a managerial position at a major communications agency.
- Demonstrable commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Deep knowledge of topics such as clean energy, circular economy, sustainable finance, sustainable agriculture, etc.
- Experience of business and government across the APAC region.
- Creative storyteller who can translate complex topics for media, social media, opinion desks, and other external audiences.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications in English.
- Great references.
