About the Role

As a Journalist/Social Media Specialist for tabla!, the Tamil Murasu’s English language weekly tabloid started in 2008, you will create content for both our digital and print platforms, and drive the strategy and execution of social media efforts across platforms.

The candidate should be a digital savvy who has a passion for current affairs, and understands how best to tell a story that resonates with audiences across different social media platforms.

Job Requirements

Minimum degree/diploma from a recognised university/polytechnic
Keen interest in current affairs
Have a good understanding of how content can translate to various medium
Excellent command of English and strong writing skills
Strong understanding of the target community
Creative and resourceful

This role will be on a contractual basis and will end in March 2027.
