A leading Asia-focused brokerage is looking to hire a Sales Trader to join its Institutional Equities platform in Singapore.

This role sits within a regional sales trading setup and focuses on supporting institutional and hedge fund clients across execution, flow discussion and day-to-day market interaction. The successful hire will work closely with senior sales traders, trading desks and internal partners across the region, with clear exposure to ASEAN client activity.

What the role involves:

• Handling institutional equity orders with a strong focus on execution quality
• Engaging clients on market conditions, liquidity and flow dynamics
• Supporting senior sales traders on key accounts and coverage responsibilities
• Working closely with internal trading, sales and research teams
• Contributing to broader client engagement and wallet-share initiatives over time

What they're looking for:

• 3 - 8 years of experience in equity sales trading within a brokerage environment
• Sound understanding of cash equities and the trade lifecycle
• Comfortable speaking with institutional clients and responding to market-driven queries
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• Mandarin proficiency required due to existing client coverage
