Evident Inspection Technologies, a Wabtec company, offers a wide range of ultrasonic and eddy current flaw detection software and equipment. Our equipment is used, among other things, to inspect welds, detect hidden cracks, voids, porosity, and other internal irregularities in various materials.

Who will you be working with? Reporting to the CFO, Finance this position is a key member of the finance team, with responsibility for providing strategic leadership to the finance function and beyond and playing a pivotal role in the ongoing sustainable success of the business.
Where is the role located? At our offices on 25 Ubi Road 4, UBIX.
What will your typical day look like?- Leading the integration/ transition of Finance function into Wabtec and cover the Transition Service Agreement (TSA) exit for APAC.
- Leading the finance function to deliver on the company’s growth plans.
- Playing a collaborative role in driving business results and profitability across APAC region.
- Acting as a true business partner, pushing the strategy and the value optimization/creation.
- Planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the business.
- Navigating a complex and dynamic business, and subsequently define and deliver processes, systems, and capabilities that continue to simplify and optimize the business.
- Accountable for the overall team production including FP&A, Statutory and Tax.
- Managing a team of Finance personnel across APAC to delivery business results.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a financial position
- Proficient in US GAAP, IRFS
- Controllership experience in a multinational company will be highly regarded
- Strong information systems/ERP system experience
- Interpersonal and supervisory skills, such as coaching, providing feedback, and evaluating performance of subordinates, and the ability to coach and motivate employees
- Deals well with ambiguity; can effectively cope with change; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
- Strong communication skills, executive presence/gravitas, and possess the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a cadre of experienced senior executives
- Strong commitment to business ethics and integrity
- Experience working for Carve-out and Integration situations will be highly regarded
