The Project Coordinator supports project managers and site teams in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects related to ACMV systems, ducting installation, and electrical works. This role ensures smooth communication, proper documentation, and timely progress of works while maintaining compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Coordination & Planning
  • Assist in project scheduling, planning, and tracking of ACMV, ducting, and electrical works
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely execution
  • Monitor project timelines and flag delays or issues to the Project Manager
  1. Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation (drawings, method statements, material submissions, RFIs, etc.)
  • Track approvals and ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements
  • Generate progress reports, meeting minutes, and site updates
  1. Technical Coordination
  • Liaise with engineers and consultants on ACMV systems, duct layouts, and electrical installations
  • Ensure shop drawings and as-built drawings are updated and properly coordinated
  • Assist in resolving technical discrepancies between mechanical and electrical systems
  1. Procurement & Material Management
  • Coordinate material submissions and approvals
  • Track delivery of equipment such as air handling units, ducts, cables, and panels
  • Ensure materials meet project specifications and are delivered on schedule
  1. Site Coordination
  • Work closely with site supervisors to monitor progress of installation works
  • Coordinate site activities to avoid clashes between ducting, piping, and electrical systems
  • Attend site meetings and assist in resolving coordination issues
  1. Quality & Safety Compliance
  • Ensure works comply with quality standards and project requirements
  • Support implementation of safety procedures on site
  • Assist in inspections, testing, and commissioning processes

Requirements

Education & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction, preferably in ACMV or M&E works
Technical Skills
  • Basic knowledge of ACMV systems, ducting, and electrical installations
  • Familiarity with construction drawings and M&E coordination
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Soft Skills
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in BIM coordination (e.g., Navisworks, Revit)
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards (e.g., Singapore BCA guidelines if applicable)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Working Conditions
  • Combination of office and construction site environment
  • May require travel between project sites
  • Occasionally extended working hours to meet deadlines
