What You’ll Do
As an Operations Assistant, you’ll be a key link between commercial intent and physical execution—ensuring trades are delivered efficiently, profitably, and in full compliance.
You will:
- Coordinate the movement of cargoes across global supply chains, ensuring smooth and timely delivery
- Work closely with traders, shipping teams, and external partner such as vessel owners, terminal operators and surveyors
- Manage vessel and cargo operations such as scheduling, routing, nominations, and documentation
- Monitor live shipments and respond quickly to operational disruptions, minimizing cost and delays
- Support post-deal activities including invoicing, demurrage, claims, and customs processes
- Ensure all operational data and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Identify optimization opportunities across logistics, timing, and asset utilization
You’ll develop a strong understanding of how trading strategies translate into real-world execution, and how operational decisions directly impact profitability.

You are someone who:
- Has a strong interest in global commodities, supply chains, or trading environments
- Communicates effectively (Mandarin proficiency required to liaise with stakeholders)
