Warehouse Executive

The Warehouse Executive is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics, and ensuring the timely and accurate handling of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain compliance with company standards and regulations while optimizing warehouse processes.

Warehouse Operations Management:

1. Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods
2. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
3. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Inventory Control:

1. Oversee stock levels and manage inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
2. Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain the quality of goods.
3. Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.

Logistics Coordination:

1. Coordinate with transport teams and vendors for efficient delivery and shipment of goods.
2. Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve handling and reduce turnaround times.
3. Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.

Team Supervision:

1. Manage and support warehouse staff, ensuring they are trained and adhering to company policies.
2. Assign tasks and monitor performance to maintain productivity and quality standards.
3. Address and resolve any operational or personnel issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions, including inventory levels and movement.
2. Generate regular reports on warehouse performance metrics such as stock turnover and order fulfillment rates.
3. Ensure documentation compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement:

1. Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and implement improvements.
2. Stay updated on the latest warehouse technologies and trends to enhance operations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align warehouse operations with organizational goals.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in WMS and SAP
2. Knowledge of inventory management techniques and logistics operations.
3. .Basic understanding of safety and compliance standards in warehouse environments.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, with a track record of leadership.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP).
• Familiarity with inventory control and management practices.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and collaboration.
