Key Accountability
To process and/or check Trade Finance (LC) transactions and relevant supporting documentations to ensure compliance to UCP rules, internal bank policies and expectations in terms of quality and turnaround time:
Responsibilities- Processing and/or checking of Trade Finance Letter of Credit (LC) Advising/Confirmation transactions.
- Review swift and mail LC for authenticity and LC workability issue.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, highlight irregularities and red flag items during processing.
- Co-operate with team members to achieve daily tasks assigned.
- Timely and accurate execution of work assigned.
- To support the trade counter in a customer facing role and dealing with external clients and internal stakeholders over the telephone.
- Perform scanning to digitalise physical documents received.
- Assist Trade Team in amending extracted data vs Trade Supporting Documents
- Ability to organize and change priorities frequently within a given day, multitask, work independently and with others while demonstrating a positive attitude.
- Innovative and willing to accept challenges in a dynamic environment
- CDCS Qualified and Trade knowledge would be an advantage
- Hard-working, self-motivated and a strong team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous and detailed oriented
- Capable to work effectively under pressure and tight deadline
- Familiar with MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Words
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
