Project Coordinator - Marine Sector

This position is fundamental to maintaining project timelines, budgets and quality standards whilst contributing to the strategic objectives of our marine operations.

1. Coordinate and manage all phases of assigned marine projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery
2. Liaise with operations, procurement, and finance teams to gather information, resolve issues, and maintain project progress
3. Monitor project milestones, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders
4. Identify risks, implement contingency plans, and recommend process improvements to enhance project outcomes
5. Maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, reports, and records
6. Support project managers in client and vendor communications and contract negotiations

1. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within the marine sector
2. Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies and best practices
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
7. Problem-solving capability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project challenges
8. Familiarity with marine industry operations, terminology and regulatory requirements (preferred)
9. Experience with marine contracts and maritime project specifications (preferred)
