Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seafreight Operation Officer to manage our day-to-day import and export shipments. If you are eager to learn and grow your career within freight forwarding and logistics, we want you on our team.
Job Highlights- Basic Salary Up to $2700 (OT payable, monthly gross up to $3000)
- Location: 22 Loyang Lane (EAST Singapore)
- Benefits: 14 Days Annual Leave + Performance Bonus
- Status: Permanent Full-Time Position
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Shipment Handling: Manage seafreight import and export shipments from booking to final cargo delivery.
- Documentation: Prepare and process shipping documentation including Bill of Lading (BL), Delivery Orders (DO), invoices, and shipping instructions.
- Permit Declarations: Submit and manage TradeNet permit declarations for import/export shipments.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and warehouses for smooth cargo movement.
- Client & Vendor Liaison: Liaise with customers and overseas agents regarding shipment status, tracking updates, and documentation requirements.
- Quotation Strategy: Request, obtain, and evaluate RFQs from overseas agents for destination handling, local charges, and delivery arrangements to ensure competitive pricing.
- Compliance & Admin: Monitor shipment progress to resolve operational issues promptly. Ensure strict compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and international shipping requirements.
- Internal Support: Maintain accurate shipment records, update operational systems, and assist internal teams with costing, billing, and operational coordination.
