About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Service Engineer to join our team at FUJI HORIGUCHI ENGINEERING PTE LTD' located in the Taman Jurong West Region. This full-time position is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for maintenance and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients in the marine industry.
What you'll be doing- Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing on a wide range of marine equipment and systems
- Troubleshooting and repairing any malfunctions or breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
- Liaising with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements
- Providing technical guidance and support to clients and junior team members
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Marine Service Engineer or in a similar role within the marine industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of a wide range of marine equipment and systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
