Ground Baggage Operations Officer | Changi Airport | Up to $2850 #9398

• Working Location: Changi Airport
• Working Hours: 2 days’ work, 2 days off shift cycle (8:30am to 8:30pm & 8:30pm to 8:30am) Must commit both shift
• Salary: $2850 + Increment

Job Responsibilities:

• Ground monitoring of Baggage Handling Areas (BHA) and Baggage Operations providing real-time information to stakeholders (airlines and business partners) necessary for the efficient and optimal operations of facilities
• Coordinating with the Integrated Baggage Shift Team and Baggage Control Room Engineers for any real operational changes and challenges in the BHA (i.e. BHS Disruptions, BHA incidents, accident investigations and reporting)
• Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI
• ·Conduct ground enforcements in BHA, planeside observation and audits on Baggage Operations
• Coordinate with baggage stakeholder on Exception handling flights (e.g. VVIP flights, special)

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma with any relevant education
• Experience in an airline/airport operations environment (preferably 2 years of experience)
• Must be on-site in the baggage handling area
• Prefer to have Class 3 driving license to drive the baggage truck
• Airline/airport scheduling experience an advantage, preferably with gate and baggage scheduling systems
• Familiarity with aircraft types and an understanding of Apron & Baggage operations would be an advantage
• Must be able to work shift and weekends (if required)
