Senior Sports and Recreation Executive

Job Purpose:

Senior Sports and Recreation Executive managing the assigned sports and recreation classes and sections. Sports and Recreation classes includes Yoga, Swimming, Pilates, Tai Chi, Aqua Zumba and any other new classes. Sports Section includes Softball, Pickleball, Soccer, Bowling, Tennis, Towel Counter, Billiard, Gym, Cricket and Padang Field.

He / She assist in organizing sports and recreation events / activities for members adults and children.

The executive is to provide quality service to club members and guests.

Job Responsibilities:

2. To assist Sports Manager in managing Sports and Recreation classes and sections.
3. To assist in enquiry and administration for corporate packages.
4. To assist in facilities bookings (Members and Corporate). This includes Tennis courts, Pickleball Courts, Multi-Purpose Court, Soccer Field and any other new facilities.
5. To administer all recreation and sports related billings, payment and purchase requisition.
6. To record accurately on admin related matters such as Minutes of Meeting for Games Control Board (GCB) related meetings.
7. Prepare meeting materials.
8. Assist in Sports and Recreation operations and ensure smooth daily operations of the recreational facilities.
9. Assist in organizing and planning of recreation and sports events, regular and ad-hoc events.
10. To support membership and Insurance section in enrolment and termination.
11. Others

• Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
• Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
• Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment

1. Any other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in sports operations, gym operations, or sports management with relevant certifications in fitness training such as NASM, ACE, FIC/ FISAF, NCSF, FEA or equivalent.
• Candidate with NREP certification will have an added advantage.
• Possess a valid First Aid, CPR & AED certification.
• Good interpersonal skills to connect with the members from diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
• Willingness to work on rostered shift hours, weekends, and public holidays, as needed for Club operations.
