As a Senior Assistant Manager (Social Media), Corporate Communications Department, you will drive social media initiatives, and manage the digital assets and virtual infrastructure of the Hospital’s social medial platforms to strengthen its corporate positioning and online presence.
You will be part of the Crisis Management Team, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of social media assets and implementation of social media best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, execute and manage communications across the Hospital’s various corporate social media platforms to build mindshare, grow social media audiences and engagement
- Act as Administrator and Custodian of the various social media channels, including the corporate Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok accounts
- Develop effective strategies for online engagement and new media platforms, especially for crisis communication
- Plan ahead with a social media calendar for online platforms, and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to build engaging content
- Develop new social media platforms and assist with corporate digital platform operations eg website where required.
- Chart and track social media KPIs, set up social listening best practices and dashboards and carry out online media monitoring and measurement
- Prepare daily social media coverage reports. Analyse the social media coverage to refine and strengthen social media strategy for stronger brand positioning
- Keep abreast with latest social media policies and analyse social media landscape and trends; and continuously improve social media strategy
- Establish and ensure adherence to CGH new media and website governance standards, processes and procedures
- Adapt social media content for communications across other platforms, including internal communications and media/corporate collaterals for key projects/initiatives
- Timely communications that serve to inform and assure the public during an incident or a crisis
Requirements:
- Degree preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations or Journalism
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work, experience in the healthcare industry will be advantageous
- An engaging storyteller with excellent writing, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth technical knowledge of online and social media metrics; able to interpret results and take action to refine strategy and implementation
- Creative, analytical, meticulous, highly driven and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines, given the nature of social media
- Self-starter with the ability to come up with new ideas, but also a team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt developed social media content across various communications platforms for integrated communications is an advantage
- This position is for a 6-month contract (maternity coverage).
