JOB DESCRIPTION – REGIONAL SUPPLY CHAIN & DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER

1. ROLE OVERVIEW

M Asia Distribution is seeking a highly disciplined, data-driven, and commercially aware Regional Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager to lead end-to-end inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain execution across multiple markets.

This role is critical in transforming the company from a sales-driven distribution model to a data-driven, demand-led supply chain, ensuring optimal inventory levels, faster stock rotation, and minimal write-offs.

1. KEY OBJECTIVES (FIRST 6–12 MONTHS)

• Reduce inventory write-off to below 2%
• Improve forecast accuracy to >85%
• Achieve inventory turnover of >6x annually
• Maintain inventory days at 85%
• Inventory Days: 6x per year
• % Inventory >90 Days: 95%

1. REQUIREMENTS

• 7–12 years in Supply Chain / Demand Planning / FMCG Distribution
• Regional experience across Southeast Asia preferred
• Proven track record in inventory optimization and forecasting
• Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, or distribution

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Advanced Excel (mandatory); Power BI or similar tools (preferred)
• Deep understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and S&OP
• Commercial awareness (understanding of sales impact on supply chain)
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on, execution-focused mindset

• Experience working with multi-country distribution operations
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems
• Exposure to AI-driven forecasting tools is a plus
