Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ServiceNow Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow platform implementations and enhancements. This role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ServiceNow modules and workflows, ensuring coverage of functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
- Review requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testable elements and potential risks.
- Perform manual and automated testing of ServiceNow applications, including UI, API, and end-to-end processes.
- Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Validate compliance with TGFEP standards, including data security, accessibility, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities, providing clear status updates to project stakeholders.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback sessions with business users.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for test automation, process optimisation, and best practices adoption.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in software testing, with at least 1 year focused on ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM) and associated workflows.
- Familiarity with TGFEP or similar technology governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow Test Management), and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, agile, and cross-functional teams.
- Having prior project experience in Public Sector domain is advantageous
- Certification in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer).
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
- Understanding of enterprise IT governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
