IT Engineer (Junior) - Geylang
Location: Ang Mo Kio (AMK)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: Up to $2,000 per month
Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer(Junior) to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line support for IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
Note: This position may involve occasional rotating shifts to support operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents through phone, email, remote tools, or on-site assistance.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common applications.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and ensure follow-through until resolution.
- Maintain clear documentation for support cases, issues, and resolutions.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes (e.g., account setup, device allocation).
- Monitor and update IT asset inventory and maintain accurate tracking records.
- Collaborate with other IT teams for system improvements and project support.
Requirements:
- Nitec, Diploma, or higher in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of IT; prior support experience is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts if needed.
