Manufacturing Engineer (Semicon, East)
Job Overview
The Manufacturing / Process Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing methods, processes, and operation sequences for parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. The role supports new and existing products through cross-functional collaboration, engineering changes, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working hours: 4PM to 130AMContract: 12 months
Location: Upper Changi
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, methods, and operation sequences.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on product improvements and new product releases.
- Manage and implement engineering change requests to support Design and Operations.
- Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
- Apply DFx principles to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Develop and support test procedures, specifications, and test fixtures.
- Analyse operational and test data, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Support process documentation, business process updates, and PFMECA for New Product Development.
- Engineering qualification with experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, testing, and quality methodologies.
- Experience with engineering change management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
