Job Description:

• Communicate with operations staff to ensure the goods are weighed in, and invoices are printed
• Coordinate delivery trips daily, ensuring all SKUs (fresh and frozen) are consolidated from the warehouse to the loading bay on time
• Ensures goods are palletised to customer standards to prevent damage, and verifies physical stock matches the invoices
• Briefs drivers on handling perishable goods and acts as the point of contact for quantity or temperature issues during loading
• Stops "Short-Loading" or "Inaccurate Loading" before truck doors are sealed; ensures drivers sign delivery orders and provide temperature logs
• Identify and reprint any missing or damaged invoices immediately to avoid delivery rejection
• Document any "Missed Loads" or production shortfalls and communicate them promptly to the sales and other operations departments
• Being on the ground to assist drivers in the loading and unloading of goods

Job Requirements:

• Has at least two years of relevant experience in Logistics, Dispatch, or Fleet Coordination
• Has direct experience in FMCG or Cold Chain (Perishables/Seafood) is highly preferred
• Possess a Class 3 license is preferred
• Has own transport
• Has a valid Forklift License to assist in loading/moving pallets during peak windows is preferred
• Has experience using TMS (Transport Management Systems) and Microsoft Excel for tracking deliveries and managing delivery orders/invoices
• Proven ability to remain calm and focused under the pressure of tight "cut-off" times and strict delivery windows
• A "hawk-eye" for accuracy, ensuring physical goods are loaded according to the invoices and picking lists
• Has a clear communication style, essential for managing and directing 3PL drivers
• Has the ability to make rapid "keep or cut" decisions—knowing when to hold a truck for a late product or when to dispatch to ensure on-time delivery
