Our client, a leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services, is seeking Associate Engineers for its Wafer Bumping – Process department. This position involves operating high-tech fabrication equipment, supporting process improvements, and ensuring line compliance in a cleanroom environment.

This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift and offers a dynamic learning environment with hands-on exposure to cutting-edge wafer processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and sustain Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment
• Develop and optimize inspection recipes; support metrology tools
• Perform and interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
• Coordinate with engineering teams for real-time defect feedback
• Support line operations for Photolithography, PVD, CVD, Sputter, and Descum processes
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety protocols
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield and efficiency
• Assist with new tool setup and material evaluations as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
• Hands-on experience in wafer bumping is required
• Familiarity with AOI, lithography, sputtering, and SPC is advantageous
• Able to commit to 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night)
• Candidates will be assessed based on their qualifications and relevant experience
• This position is open to all candidates with the relevant skillset

Remuneration & Work Details:

• Salary Range: SGD $2,500 – $3,500/month
• Shift Allowance: $10 (day shift), $15 (night shift)
• Working Hours: 7:00am – 7:10pm / 7:00pm – 7:10am (rotating every 3 months on a 3-4-4-3 pattern)
• Work Location: North-East Singapore (e.g., Serangoon / Ang Mo Kio vicinity)
• Transport Support: May be provided depending on candidate’s location
