Role Overview: Specialist Risk Group is seeking a Senior Associate, Billing (Insurance Broking) who is proactive and detail-oriented, to support end-to-end billing and operational processes within our insurance brokerage business.

This person plays a critical role in ensuring accurate premium processing, strong internal controls and seamless coordination among multiple stakeholders including Brokers, Finance and Client Onboarding.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Oversee end-to-end billing delivery within agreed timelines; collaborate with Brokers, Finance and Client Onboarding to ensure accurate, complete and current billing records are maintained in the system.
  • Provide guidance and structured coaching to junior colleague to ensure consistent execution of billing and related operational processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls and improve data quality.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards, and support audit and compliance reviews as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support team objectives and broader business priorities.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, operations, or billing-related roles
  • Familiarity with premium billing, policy administration or insurance operations processes is preferred
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations, billing cycles, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and improve processes
  • Meticulous, organised and able to meet deadlines.
