Job Description:
- Maintain and manage inventory levels of medical supplies, medications and other hospital materials
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to inventory records in EzyVet including entering update of invoices
- Assist with procurement, ordering and receiving stock, checking deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Implement the process around controlled drugs
- Organise and label stock to ensure efficient accessibility and rotation of items
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Work closely with veterinary staff to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels accordingly
- Help implement and maintain inventory management policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to hospital management
- Working Hours: 5 day work week, 8am to 5pm / 9am to 6pm
Desired skills and experience:
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., EzyVet, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with veterinary staff and management.
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, preferably in a veterinary, medical, or pharmaceutical setting.
- Experience handling controlled substances in compliance with AVS regulation is an advantage.
