Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager (Civil & Structural)

Summary:

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring and managing daily project operations.
• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on project-related matters.
• Attend regular meetings with clients and subcontractors to discuss project progress and issues.
• Review drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies and site issues.
• Conduct in-progress and joint inspections to ensure works meet the required quality standards.
• Update and maintain the Project Quality Plan when necessary.

• Possess a minimum qualification of Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of related field experience.

Assistant Project Manager (Civil)

Job scope:

• Plan, lead and monitor project progress in accordance with the master schedule and project requirements.
• Oversee daily site operations, including manpower planning, work sequencing and resource allocation.
• Manage project costs to ensure works are delivered within approved budgets (materials, manpower and equipment).
• Review work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure smooth and efficient site execution.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and stakeholders to minimise errors and delays.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and relevant authorities to resolve technical and compliance issues.
• Enforce safe work practices, quality standards and cost-effective construction methods.
• Issue timely instructions to address site challenges, variations, delays or emergencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience within the Construction industry
• Possess a minimum qualification of Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or equivalent qualification
