Assistant project manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Assistant Project Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to support the management and execution of M&E works across projects. This role assists the Project Manager in coordinating technical, commercial, and site activities to ensure smooth project delivery, compliance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordination of M&E activities
- Support supervision of Mechanical & Electrical installation works on site
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and work quality
- Identify technical issues and assist in resolving site challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation
- Assist with cost control, variation orders, and budget tracking
- Participate in site meetings, inspections, and testing & commissioning
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
- Experience in M&E projects or construction environment preferred
- Basic understanding of M&E systems, drawings, and coordination
- Familiarity with local codes, standards, and safety practices
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
