Join one of Singapore’s leading A1 main contractor with over 20 years of excellence in the industry. Our client boasts a remarkable portfolio, including private residential, mixed development, commercial, and infrastructure projects, as well as some of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks.
They are currently hiring a Senior/M&E Quantity Surveyor to support an iconic mixed-development project. This position offers a 5 day work week and performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost management and budget control for mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of construction projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and successful project delivery.
- Prepare and review tender and contract documents.
- Evaluate project cost effectiveness and propose cost-saving measures.
- Manage project budgets and provide accurate cost reports.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering.
- Handle procurement processes and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor project expenditures against budgets.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet project goals.
- Provide financial performance updates.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Min Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; candidates with over 5 years of experience may qualify for the Senior M&E QS role.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying practices.
- Experience managing construction project budgets and costs.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in construction.
- Excellent contract negotiation and procurement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
