Career & Alumni Services Admin Coordinator (part-time)

Position Description:

Career & Alumni Services department is the primary point of contact between the Industry and the school. The department also serves to enhance students’ employability, making a difference to our students and alumni’s lives.

The Admin Coordinator (part-time) would be helping in various administrative tasks as assigned, for Career and Alumni Services (CAS).

The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Career & Alumni Services.

Duties:

  • Respond to email queries from students and external companies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct alumni employment verification via phone calls, and other methods. Excel data entry and follow-up calls/emails would be needed. Meticulousness and resourcefulness will be required.
  • Other administrative tasks such as updating of internship and job openings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with logistics for career or alumni related events (Company Talks, Career Fair, alumni events etc).
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualification, Expectation and Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (filter, Pivot Table, Vlookup)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Listening, comprehension and writing will be important.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Comfortable making and receiving phone calls
  • Organized, meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently to achieve objectives
  • Bonus: applicants with past experience in call centre or customer service.

  • Working schedule: 5 half-days per week; onsite only
