Project Site Electrical Engineer (Power Distribution & Transmission)

Salary: S$4,000 - S$5,000

Our client is a manufacturer of electronic products. They are seeking a Project Site Electrical Engineer (Power Distribution & Transmission) to join the team.

• Provide engineering, technical & site support for all assigned projects
• Prepare and submit customers’ tender, conduct kick-off meeting with clients, and communicate with vendors and customers during project execution
• Liaise with vendors about quotations, specifications, and preliminary drawing at the same time maintain communication with manufacturers and subcontractors
• Pursue projects with the sales and technical team to meet project objectives
• Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team and clients, follow through projects, and offer technical and site support for the project cycle from the conceptual stage to the installation stage
• Liaise with clients and the factory to meet the factory acceptance test schedule
• Perform site coordination, site acceptance tests, and commissioning work
• Provide the necessary field inputs to engineering and factories for designing new products and improving existing products or systems
• Organise training for clients and handover to the Life Cycle department for warranty
• Keep up with technological advancements and emerging trends in the transformers industry
• Undertake other assignments and additional projects assigned by the Head of Department

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years’ hands-on technical electrical engineering experience in the field of transformer, from a construction, process, or plant engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of transformers and familiar with engineering support functions from the industrial environment
• Must be ready to travel on business trips overseas to support business needs (2-3 times a month)

• Candidates with switchgear knowledge have an added advantage
