We are looking for a Financial Accountant (Income Audit & Cost Control), to join our team!

Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant (Income Audit & Cost Control), you will oversee cost control and income audit functions for assigned hotel entities. You will ensure accuracy of financial reporting, perform investigative checks, and collaborate closely with hotel departments to uphold strong internal controls.

You will be part of a dynamic Finance Shared Service Centre, supporting our hotels with timely insights, accurate reconciliations, and operational support.

Cost Control & Income Audit
  • Prepare monthly F&B cost reports and analyse variances.
  • Investigate cost irregularities and recommend cost‑saving measures.
  • Assist in preparing the monthly menu engineering report.
  • Perform desk audits and spot checks across hotel operations.
  • Conduct trend analysis on revenue and cost activities to identify risks.
  • Ensure proper accounting of hotel income sources, including verification of incentives, rebates, and discounts granted.
  • Perform daily revenue reporting via TM1, providing management with business insights.
  • Carry out reconciliations (Balance Sheet, Bank, Credit Card, Voucher) and correct discrepancies.
  • Support system data setup (e.g., Infrasys, OPMS, SCM) and journal entries in SunSystems.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget and Capex information.
Coordination & Compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, and provide required schedules and information.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control checklists and requirements.
  • Investigate non‑compliance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Participate in the review and enhancement of finance policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in Accountancy or related disciplines.
  • 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or audit.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and risk control areas.
