Job Summary
The jobholder (2-year contract) supports the Assistant Director, Curriculum Development in leading MENDAKI’s curriculum design and review initiatives. This role focuses on managing curriculum development projects, ensuring alignment with pedagogical standards and organisational objectives.The Senior Manager drives operational execution, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and contributes to capability-building for tutors and facilitators.
The job holder is expected to work from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays. May occasionally be required to work over the weekends and Public Holidays to support MENDAKI’s events. Although the job holder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, they are also expected to travel frequently for meetings.
Key Responsibility Areas
Curriculum Development & Review- Manage end-to-end curriculum development projects, ensuring quality, relevance, and alignment with national directives and MENDAKI’s objectives.
- Convert strategic priorities into scoped project plans and manage execution with the curriculum team.
- Conduct systematic reviews and evaluations to maintain alignment with learning outcomes and national standards.
- Monitor emerging trends in pedagogy and educational technology to inform project decisions.
- Collaborate with the Learning Technology team to integrate digital tools and interactive elements into curriculum design.
- Implement quality assurance processes for curriculum content and instructional materials.
- Analyse feedback and evaluation data to identify gaps and drive iterative improvements.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of tutor and facilitator training and professional development programmes.
- Establish systems for tracking participation, completion, and evaluation outcomes, and leverage dashboards to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage procurement and engagement of vendors for curriculum projects.
- Ensure optimal utilisation of resources and adherence to budget allocations.
- Supervise Curriculum Strategists; allocate tasks, set targets and provide coaching.
- Foster collaboration and professional growth within the team.
- Participate in and lead special projects as required.
- Degree in Education, Instructional Design or a related discipline.
- 5+ years in teaching, curriculum development and instructional design with project management experience.
- Practical familiarity with pedagogical frameworks.
- Experience in team management.
- Experience working in primary and/or secondary school settings is advantageous.
- Project management skills.
- Strong operational leadership.
- Stakeholder management and vendor oversight.
- Clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multi-task in a fast‑paced environment.
