Financial Controller (6 months contract)

Our client, a well-established SGX-listed real estate company, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the team on a 6-month contract basis with potential opportunity to convert into a permanent headcount.

• Oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting, reporting, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review management reports, statutory accounts, and SGX-related reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory obligations.
• Support audit, tax, and statutory filing processes, including liaison with external auditors and advisors.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and consolidation matters.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
• Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and finance-related projects as required.

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Qualified accountant preferred, such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant finance experience, ideally within real estate, property, or a listed environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with SGX reporting requirements.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and operate in a contract capacity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
