Salon Receptionist — Job Scope & Performance Standards
  1. Client Reception & Service
  • Greet every client by name
  • Complete all pre-arrival preparation in advance based on the booking questionnaire forwarded by CSO
  • Deliver a professional, warm, and personalized experience throughout the client's visit
  1. Booking & Rebooking Management
  • Proactively guide clients to book their next appointment on-site
  • Inform clients about the 14-day service guarantee policy and ensure they understand it
  • Follow up on appointment confirmations, rescheduling, and cancellations to keep the schedule running smoothly
  1. Client Engagement & Private Community Growth
  • Onboard into the salon's private community group
  • Maintain accurate client profiles, service history, and preference notes to support personalized service and follow-up marketing
  1. Cashiering & Financial Compliance
  • Process payments through the official platform
  • Accurately key in invoices into the system for every transaction, ensuring correct service items, pricing, discounts, and client details
  • Issue official receipts/invoices to clients promptly upon payment
  • Accurately handle package redemptions, gift cards, and membership benefits at checkout
  • Reconcile daily takings against system records and ensure all entries match before end-of-day closing
  1. On-Site Operations Support
  • On the cleaner's day off: prepare meals/refreshments on time for every client in the salon, with zero client complaints
  • Keep the reception area, waiting lounge, and retail display clean, tidy, and well-stocked
  • Monitor front-desk supplies and refreshment inventory; replenish in a timely manner
  1. Other Duties
  • Handle client inquiries and complaints professionally; escalate to the Salon Manager when necessary
  • Support stylists/therapists during peak hours as needed
  • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Salon Manager

Working Hours :

Mon- Fri- 10.30am-8.30pm

Weekend: 10.00am-7.00pm

Working Schedule: 6 off days in a month
