Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.
The Human Resources team manages the heart of the organization (i.e., its people), from recruitment and training to employee engagement and relations. The team ensures a skilled and dedicated workforce committed to a common mission.
As a Senior Executive, HR Shared Services (Payroll), your impact and contribution includes:
- Collaborate with external payroll vendor and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, CPF submission, and annual income tax filing
- Prepare general ledger journal and intercompany charges for Finance
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees or authorities
- Manage employee insurance claims
- Process and submit local government claims (e.g. government paid leave)
- Ensure employee documents are accurate and complete in the HR system
- Submit statutory report and survey to the authorities, such as MOM survey
- Ensure that all processes are delivered in compliance with internal policies as well as external regulations
- Support audit requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives/programmes to enhance employees’ overall experience
- Min. Diploma / Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field
- Min. 3 years of HR experience including payroll management
- Good knowledge of Employment Act, HR practices and payroll compliance
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
