Dulwich College (Singapore) is looking to recruit a Campus Administrator to support the leadership team, and all the students and staff across the Junior School. The Campus Administrator is the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the Junior School, answering queries and supporting the community as needed.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:

General
  • To support the Head of Junior School and educational staff in their work.
  • To take responsibility for all matters relating to the day-to-day administration management and running of the Junior School.
The students and the community
  • To respond directly to general questions and issues raised by parents and visitors.
  • To provide an efficient flow of communication between parents and employees of the College with a focus on the Junior School.
  • To ensure that the campus is a safe and pleasant place for the children, in line with DCSG policies.
Supporting the role of others
  • To provide the Head of Junior School and teaching staff with administrative support as required.
  • To liaise with the Admissions Department to ensure that all lists (attendance, telephone, allergy, etc.) are up-to-date and disseminated throughout the College as necessary.
  • To support the Admissions Department by collecting and forwarding applications and fees from parents.
  • To provide support for school events, and coordinate with Senior School and DUCKS over preparations as required.
Administrative duties
  • To liaise with the Operations Department on all site related matters (catering, supplies, furniture and repairs, and bus organisation), forwarding any issues raised by parents or College employees to the relevant person.
  • To ensure that all communication within the College is handled quickly and efficiently.
  • To be the point of contact regarding maintenance requirements in the Junior School liaising with the Operations team.
  • Receive work requests from the teaching and administrative staff and begin the processing of those requests, following up and checking that the work has been satisfactorily completed.
  • Receive and check invoices for the Junior School as required, completing the correct paperwork and liaising with the Finance Department.
  • Organise functions and assist Operations in organising College-wide events.

All other duties commensurate with post.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of ‘A’ Levels or equivalent.
  • A diploma or certificate in business/administration or a related area would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of two years' experience working in an administrative role which is customer-facing.
  • Experience of managing projects.
  • Experience working independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and multi-task.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal politely and effectively with parents, students, and visitors to the College.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children.
  • Reliable, responsible, detail-oriented and flexible.
  • An understanding of the requirements for handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • A motivated self-starter who is able to use their own initiative.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the proficient use of Microsoft Office to complete tasks.
