Senior Advisory Solution Consultant, IT Asset Management

The IT Asset Management Advisory Solution Consultant role is a customer facing domain expert who will drive innovative business solutions with our customers, by applying technical and business skills.
This role is a Pre-Sales/Sales Engineering/Solution Consulting role. The role takes a consultative approach with our customers and prospects to discover and map business outcome-driven solutions. You will partner with sales, broader solution consulting team, and the ServiceNow ecosystem to achieve customer success through thought leadership and driving awareness.
Your Impact:
- Create and contribute in Sales campaigns for ITAM focused on Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Enterprise Asset management (EAM) and Cloud Cost Management
- Serve as a thought leader on ITAM for ServiceNow and a trusted advisor to our clients.
- Strong alignment with Product Management and Engineering teams on roadmap and field feedback
- Create and own programs that enable Solution consultants and Sellers to demonstrate the value of ITAM, while fostering ongoing collaboration.
- Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITAM solutions created on the ServiceNow platform
- Assist the sales personnel in the qualification of customer needs
- Performing business value assessments to determine the value for clients
- Demonstrations of solutions, both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers
- Responding to request for information/proposal documents
- Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects
- Supporting Marketing events – user conferences, trade shows, webinars, along with developing a technical workshop program aimed at driving awareness, generating pipelines, and increasing usage
- Collaborate with external partners to co-develop opportunities, deliver joint solutions, events and drive ITAM enablement and adoption.
- Staying current on competitive analysis and understanding how to best position ServiceNow solution
- Understanding business and technical problems the product addresses, including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, licensing models
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts
- Strong domain expertise in Software license compliance process, Licensing terms and conditions, and major publishers.
- Experience with discovery, inventory and client distribution technologies (SCCM, Ivanti, Altiris, etc.)
- Strong Pre-sales experience and mastery of the Sales process to become trusted advisor for account representative
- Proactively collaborate with our broader team of servicenow including sales, partners, product and solution consulting team.
- Ensure data hygiene and operational discipline by maintaining accurate and timely updates of technical activities, technical win and engagement documentation.
- Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in web and cloud technology
- Passion for learning new technologies and a commitment to continuously expanding technical skills within ITAM and adjacent domains.
