Location: Napier

Working days/hours:

Monday to Saturday, 8:00AM – 1:00PM / 8:30AM – 1:30PM

(subject to staggered scheduling)

Pay:

Certified Phlebos & ENs: $23/hr

Staff Nurses: $26/hr

Job scope:

Perform blood collection procedures (venepuncture/phlebotomy) for patients in hospital, private clinic, and ward settings.
Ensure proper patient identification and follow specimen collection protocols.
Label, handle, and prepare blood samples accurately for laboratory processing.
Maintain proper infection control and safety standards during procedures.
Provide professional and compassionate care to patients during blood-taking procedures.
Support ad hoc duties related to phlebotomy services when required.
Be comfortable travelling within the hospital and occasionally to nearby clinics/wards for blood collection assignments.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy
Must be fully vaccinated
