Your role :

Key Responsibilities:

  • production Support: Provide production support and batch monitoring to ensure the stability and performance of production systems
  • incident Management: Handle incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
  • client Engagement: Engage with clients to manage escalations and provide timely updates on issues
  • standards and SLAs: Uphold high standards for timely issue resolution and ensure all support activities meet the defined SLAs process Improvement: Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements to enhance system reliability and performance
  • release and Deployment: Contribute expertise to release and deployment planning and implementation flexible Work Hours: Work in staggered timings (occasionally) and support over weekends as per project requirements. Be flexible to put in extra hours whenever necessary due to the dynamic work environment
  • leadership: Lead application support and reliability action items for outages, major incident reviews, IPM, BCM, release management, audit, transition, stakeholder meetings, automation, tooling, and risk & control activities

Your team :

You'll be working in the Group Functions, Application Support & Reliability team, supporting applications in the Reference Data Area. Your role is to ensure the stability of the systems we support. We respond to requests from traders, operations, and business management, ensuring our daily processing cycles complete accurately and on time.

We help by resolving incidents before they have a material impact and by implementing changes according to plans that minimize the risk of disruption.

Your expertise :

  • experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in a production support role, preferably with some experience as a technical lead or senior SME for business applications, facing off to senior business and IT stakeholders
  • technical Skills: Strong knowledge of scripting, tooling, UNIX, Wintel, and databases. Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys and automation tools such as AppDynamics and IP Center
  • cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and related services such as AAD, ADF, ADO, ADB, ADLS, Cosmos, and Postgres SQL DB is a plus
  • problem-Solving: A natural ability to solve complex issues with strong analytical and synthesizing skills
  • communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of explaining complex technical issues to senior business stakeholders
  • ITIL Framework: Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, request, problem management, change and release activities, as well as knowledge management
  • team Collaboration: Very good communication and collaboration skills, being a good team player, and the ability to multitask
