Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end operations of Autonomous Mobility Robots (AMR), ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and service delivery.
  • Oversee technical support, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Plan and coordinate robot routes, usage schedules, and operational workflows in collaboration with user departments.
  • Ensure technical issues are identified, logged, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular maintenance, system diagnostics, and software updates.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with robot vendors and internal IT teams for escalated technical issues, system upgrades, and integration efforts.
  • Train operational staff on troubleshooting, AMR handling and support.
  • Maintain accurate logs of technical incidents and resolutions.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols and operational standards across all AMR activities.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance robot performance, uptime and user experience.
  • Manage and implement business objectives into day-to-day operations.
  • Establish and continuously improve SOP/policies to optimize business processes beyond facilitating smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in operations or technical management preferably in a hospitality, logistics, or robotics environment.
  • Prior experience in robotics, automation systems, training and coaching staff at operational level and technical support is preferred.
Other Prerequisites
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical users and translate business requirements into operational objectives.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and make sound judgement calls when required.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and support autonomous systems.
  • Willing to travel when required.
