Senior Logistics Supervisor (Contract Logistics / West)
YOUR ROLE
The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Contract Logistics department in providing seamless and
customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
To lead a team of logistics assistants/team lead in carrying daily warehouse activities- To lead the team in meeting Key Performance Indicators and department operations goals
- To ensure conformance of workplace safety and operations procedures
- To work closely with customers and internal stakeholders in ensuring seamless customer throughput
- Monitor staff performance and participate in annual staff appraisal; address all employee performance
- To train new logistics assistants
- To be able to handle ad-hoc logistics projects
- Ensure and monitor team compliance to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations
- Ensure team understanding and implementation on Company’s Value in daily work behaviours
- Plan and monitor team performance including give coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected
- Implement work improvement initiative and programs such as 5S, Kaizens and LEAN with the goal of achieving
- Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division
- Ensure updated Job Description availability for the team by coordinating with HR Business Partner
- Ensure all changes in Department / Section communicated properly to the team
- Diploma with 2-3 years’ experience preferred
- Working experiences with Warehouse Management System / SAP preferred
- Competent in MS Office Application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) preferred
- Positive work attitude
- Meticulous and able to multi-task
- Experience in dealing with customers of all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with constantly changing environment
