Choa Chu Kang - Food Technologist

Job responsibilities:

• Develop spray dry encapsulation formulation and SOP
• Liaise/collaborate with relevant departments on development of new spray dry flavours
• Ensure developments are following defined legal, religious and customer requirements
• Propose and perform relevant checks and tests on spray dry powder as required to ensure quality
• Propose and comply to safety operations of the equipment
• Stay updated with new developments in ingredients and spray dry technologies
• Apply spray dry product in end use and conduct evaluation sessions as part of a cross functional team
• Ensure laboratory is always kept in a safe, clean, and hygienic environment
• Maintenance of laboratory supplies and equipment, procuring and replenishing materials as needed for projects
• Organise the maintenance, cleaning and servicing of laboratory equipment as recommended by equipment manufacturers
• Ad hoc role in application department, mainly supporting application work if needed
