The Assistant Service Delivery Manager supports the Integration and Delivery Lead in co-managing a team comprising Service Engineers and Assistant Service Engineers across various systems, networks, and infrastructure, as well as applications and automation systems.

The role includes overseeing day-to-day service operations, ensuring service levels are met, and supporting the implementation of continuous improvements across all supported domains. Provide technical expertise as part of the technical support team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform as Point of Contact to maintain ongoing maintenance projects with Customers
  • Provide root cause analysis and reports for technical issues encountered for systems maintained by the company
  • Provide daily, weekly, biweekly and monthly reporting to internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance to the Service Delivery Team
  • Responsible for producing quality and accurate maintenance documents
  • Provide technical expertise and contribute to establishing the direction for the proposed solution's application/networking architecture, standards, design and security from an operation perspective
  • To be involved in internal requirements and specifications for operation in creating new SOP for new maintenance process, including system resiliency and security into system architecture and design
  • Knowledge of inter-dependencies of the services (application, system, network and database) to check and raise gaps/inconsistencies in the solution)
  • Any ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree in Information Technology/Information Communication Technology/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in system integration and automation or related fields will have the advantage
  • Knowledge of service excellence effectiveness and operations management
  • Advance ITIL certification is preferred
  • Preferred work experience as an Operations/ IT Maintenance/Service Manager or similar role
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, deep analytical skills and excellent communication skills
  • Possess good planning and organisation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
