Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop support, IT service desk, VIP support functions and maintain high performance levels for service-related processes and take ownership of critical incidents, liaise with resolution parties, establish effective communication between stakeholders for post incident reviews and ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery
  • In charge of service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, drive future demand, and analyze internal processes, creating strategies for service delivery optimization
  • Oversee the development of new functionalities, troubleshoot existing features, perform maintenance on customer platforms, including upgrading OS, modules, applications, software upgrades / new features, and assist customers with functionality issues and provide technical support as required
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to enhance platform functionality and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and develop solutions to address technical requirements and deploy applications using AWS or equivalent cloud services such as EC2, ECS, EFS, ElasticCache, RDS, S3
  • Design automated testing frameworks and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications, acquire new technologies to enhance platform capabilities, and transform design concepts into concrete solutions by collecting business and system requirements, writing specifications, and developing project schedules, and rollout plans
  • Convert project specifications and procedures into detailed logical flow charts for coding and with QA teams during testing process and review QA documentation and ensure long term architectural and performance strategies and considered in all design and cooling solutions and write efficient code, completing thorough documentation and unit tests for systems and applications
  • Participate in incident response and postmortem activities to identify and address root cause of issues, continuously monitor and optimize platform performance to ensure fast and scalable solutions, implement security best practices in all development and deployment activities to protec customer data and recommend methods of improvement
  • Lead personnel management, including staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring

Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Min 3 years of hands-on experience in IT project management and professional software development
  • Possess development experience utilizing one or more object-oriented languages and experience in deploying and managing AWS / Google Cloud Linux / Window instances
  • Proficient in software development using PHP, ASP.net (C#), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Outsystems Low Code Based Platform and competent in database management across platforms including MySQL, MS SQL Server, and MongoDB
