Corporate Banking Relationship Manager – Indonesian Clients

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager focusing on Indonesian, Malaysian and Thailand corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for client relationship management, business development, credit evaluation, and ensuring high-quality delivery of banking solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with large corporates and institutions, providing tailored financial solutions while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and compliance.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of ASEAN Region with focus on Indonesian, Malaysian and Thailand corporate clients, driving business development and relationship management.
• Develop new client pipelines, actively expand institutional and corporate banking business opportunities.
• Provide financial advisory and structure corporate banking solutions across trade finance, loans, treasury, and capital markets products.
• Conduct credit evaluation and prepare credit proposals (new, renewal, amendments), including financial analysis, call memos, and credit review forms.
• Present credit applications and defend cases in credit committees when required.
• Oversee and review work prepared by Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs), including credit investigation reports and client due diligence.
• Ensure smooth execution of documentation, account opening, facility drawdown, and contract signing processes.
• Monitor client industries, financial performance, and ongoing business needs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Track and manage the credit quality of the portfolio, including follow-up on repayments and overdue accounts.
• Support ARM and operations teams on client servicing, escalations, and follow-ups.
• Stay updated on market developments and regulatory requirements impacting Indonesian corporate clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate / institutional banking, preferably covering Indonesian / Malaysian / Thailand corporate clients.
• Solid understanding of corporate banking products: trade finance, lending, treasury, and capital markets.
• Strong analytical and credit assessment skills, with hands-on experience preparing credit papers and financial analysis.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and portfolio management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
