Responsibilities:

1. Demand Planning

• Lead the demand planning process by gathering and analyzing demand data from internal stakeholders, specifically Sales Companies in Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines, utilizing JDE shortage and reorder reports.
• Manage stocking strategies through the PFEP (Plan for Every Part) methodology to ensure inventory availability and efficiency.
• Oversee the execution of Kanban and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) programs, including contract review, stakeholder communication, planning coordination, and on-ground implementation.

1. Inventory Management

• Ensure a healthy Days Sales of Inventory (DSI) and maintain inventory-to-sales ratio below 10% on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Service and Procurement teams from Sales Companies to provide timely updates on supply status and potential disruptions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop inventory strategies using S&OP and PFEP methodologies; prepare and manage weekly inventory reports across product categories for the Asia Pacific SCM Manager.
• Proactively manage aging inventory, working with ASEAN Sales teams to drive continuous reduction and minimize obsolescence.

1. Additional Responsibilities

• Candidates with purchasing experience are highly preferred, as responsibilities may include handling supply management for customers under inventory stocking agreements.
• Partner with Sales teams to design and implement VMI and Kanban systems tailored to direct OEM customer requirements.
• Lead the monthly consolidation of ASEAN inventory reports covering SVP, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
• Champion the AP/ASEAN Aging Inventory Reduction initiative by driving action plans and cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct customer site visits to better understand operational needs and enhance inventory planning accuracy.
• Continuously seek opportunities to expand service capabilities and improve customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all divisional policies and procedures relevant to assigned job functions.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in Material Planning, preferably in MNC or manufacturing environment.
• Previous hands-on experience in Kanban replenishment / pull system is preferred.
• People oriented personality and be able to work in a team effectively with good interpersonal and communication skill.
