IT support engineer - Bukit Batok
Job Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage and support network systems, servers, and security operations. This role involves maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support, ensuring security compliance, and driving improvements in system performance and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain servers, storage, networks, and security appliances.
- Support end-users with hardware, software, and peripheral issues across local and regional offices.
- Implement IT projects and recommend infrastructure enhancements.
- Ensure security compliance, perform updates, and manage threat detection and system logs.
- Handle data backups, disaster recovery tests, and system restorations.
- Coordinate with HQ, regional IT teams, and vendors for implementation and troubleshooting.
- Oversee IT vendor support for hardware maintenance and replacements.
Technical Skills Required:
- FortiGate Firewall & VPN, HP Switches, Velo Cloud SD-WAN
- Qualys, Cortex, VMWare, Veeam Backup, PDQ Deploy/Inventory
- Microsoft Server (AD, GPO), Office 365
- SCCM and on-prem data center operations
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of IT infrastructure experience, especially in Windows Server environments.
- Strong skills in Active Directory, Group Policy, and security best practices.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
