Job Summary

You will maintain and improve gardens and landscapes by performing plant care, equipment operation, and site upkeep tasks while following safety guidelines and working effectively with others.

Responsibilities

Water plants, fertilize soil, remove weeds, and apply mulch to maintain healthy gardens, lawns, and landscapes
Trim hedges, prune trees, and remove dead or damaged plants to promote plant health and appearance
Operate, clean, and maintain motor-powered equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers safely and efficiently
Clean and dispose of waste to keep the landscape area tidy and well-maintained
Follow safety regulations by wearing protective gear and adhering to supervisor instructions to ensure a safe work environment
Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks independently or collaboratively with team members
Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting and handling materials

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Basic knowledge of gardening and plant care to support effective maintenance and landscaping activities
