Join our growing team at Thomson Medical Centre as a Patient Service Officer (6 months contract) at Patient Service Centre!
Job Description- Liaise with the outpatient clinic, BMU and OT regarding upcoming patient admissions.
- Contact patients to encourage the download and use of the Thomson Touch App for pre-admission processes.
- Check and verify pre-admission documentation via EDEN.
- Conduct virtual financial counselling sessions via Microsoft Teams.
- Handle all patient queries related to the pre-admission process.
- Manage the Patient Service Centre mailbox.
- Handle incoming calls to the Patient Service Centre.
- Perform manual payment charging for discharged patients.
- Follow up on billing disputes to ensure resolution and patient satisfaction.
- Ensure all patient communications are responded to promptly to maintain a high level of service.
- Carry out any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Maintain accountability for the quality and timeliness of your work, and perform any other duties that may be delegated from time to time.
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or higher qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a hospital environment.
- Possesses a pleasant personality and is service-oriented.
- Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player.
