Responsibility:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code while adhering to best practices and project timelines, ensuring that the applications meet client requirements and expectations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Been through at least one full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, object-oriented software design and UML modelling.
• Extensive experience in analysing requirements, designing, development and delivering complex enterprise applications in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX / LINUX and Windows Environment.
• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Windows and/or Embedded (e.g. Linux) platforms.
• Experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial Communication.
• Familiar with secure coding
• At least 2 years' relevant experience in object-oriented software Development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; and Self-motivated and a good team player.
• Added advantage if candidate is familiar with one or more of the following technologies:

1. Three-tier software architecture

ii) Virtualization Technologies (such as hypervisors or containers)

iii) Database programming such as SQL and DAO, and relevant experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2

1. Software Modernization, Containerization, Microservices

vi) Cloud Computing, Kubernetes & Dockers, AWS Services like Amazon ECS Fargate, AWS RDS & Lambda

vii) Secure Communications (e.g. FTPS, HTTPS, etc.).
