The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications will lead the development and execution of strategic communications that advance DPH’s mission. This role will amplify DPH’s media presence, manage its public image, and provide expert counsel to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.Responsible for content creation that drives outreach and awareness, the Senior Manager will manage independent workstreams and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
This role includes overseeing the production of communications materials, maintaining brand consistency across all channels, leading crisis communications, and managing budgets. The Senior Manager will also establish communication policies and support staff development within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications & Leadership- Lead the development and execution of integrated communication strategies to promote DPH’s mission, values, and initiatives across traditional and digital media platforms.
- Serve as the brand custodian, ensuring consistency in messaging and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Establish and maintain communication policies, procedures, and SOPs to govern external communications and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Develop key messages, press materials, and speeches to effectively communicate DPH’s initiatives to the media and other stakeholders.
- Provide expert communications counsel to senior leadership and internal teams on messaging, media interviews, and broader communication-related matters.
- Lead crisis communications and issues management, ensuring timely and accurate responses to public concerns and media inquiries.
- Manage public feedback, complaints, and inquiries with professionalism, sensitivity, and a focus on preserving DPH’s reputation.
- Oversee the development and production of corporate communications materials, including Annual Reports, videos, brochures, banners, posters, and other collateral.
- Ensure that all content aligns with DPH’s brand identity and strategic objectives, while engaging and informing key audiences.
- Work collaboratively with the Fundraising, Clinical teams and Volunteer Programmes, and other key departments to support corporate initiatives and events, ensuring clear and consistent communication across all internal and external channels
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies, including media relations, content creation, and crisis communications.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling and impactful messages for diverse audiences.
- Experience in structuring scientific or medical content is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead a high-performing team.
- Experience managing budgets and overseeing the production of corporate materials.
- Strong understanding of digital media trends and best practices.
The successful candidate can expect a monthly basic salary up to $8,500, commensurate with experience.
